“A perfect stay for 10 Days. The location was a hop skip and jump to the main road of Sanur. Around a 10 minute walk to the beach front. Felt very secure behind a high fence with 24 hour security out the front. Didn’t feel like we were in a prison, beautiful inside the gated fence. Own little oasis. Each villa was amazing with a bed that could sleep 4 (lol). Beautiful indoor and outdoor showers. Very spacious. The living area was large with a complete kitchen. The pool was clean and we did have the flamingo (lol) he came for a visit. Highly recommend this Villa. Staff were polite and Arta tried really hard to understand English. At the end of our trip we had the communicate down pact. Absolutely recommend anyone to have Donny as their driver throughout their stay. He was funny, informative, never late and organised wonderful magical mystery tours.”

From the moment you walk through the large wood doors, past the koi pond and into the villa you are transported to a magical villa in Sanur. Huge rooms, air con could have been colder but was ok. Gorgeous pool and surrounds. Bathrooms were so pretty. Loved our stay here! The host and security guard were so lovely!!”.

“We had a wonderful stay at Villa Zamaya. It became like a second home for us since we stayed for 3 months. Our villa manager Arta was incredible. He was friendly, responsive, and wonderful at making us feel taken care of the entire time. It’s a bit longer walk to the beach than we expected, and some of the villas have a beach access much closer that we did not have permission to use, which I do not understand. The cafe, Over the moon, that provides breakfast is delicious and has a wonderful staff. There are many restaurants and shopping in walking distance to the villa, so we really enjoyed the location overall. We always felt safe with a gate outside and a security guard always on duty. Everyone around us was incredibly kind and welcoming, so we felt safe everywhere we went. We have 3 young children so safety and walkability were very important to us. We would return, and hope to someday!”

“We would definitely stay there again if we return to Bali. The layout of the property is great for a family with teenage children, it provides everyone with their space without feeling separated. The Villa is close to restaurants, bars, shops etc but when you are within the compound of the Villa you wouldn’t know you were in the town as it was so peaceful.
Arta who was the in villa host was great, very friendly and we managed to communicate, even with his lack of English and our lack of Balinese. He was very good at being there but not overbearing. The only bonus I would say around having Arta would be some guidance around his role being added to the Booking.com site as we weren’t sure what his remit was.
The host put us in contact with Donny Driver who was an absolute gem and really helped to make our holiday, he was a million times more than just our taxi transfer from the airport. He arranged numerous excursions for us and at great value for the quality of them, we got to the stage where we just left it to Donny to arrange as we trusted his judgement. I would 100% recommend contacting him prior or during your holiday via Facebook (Donny Driver – User name) to assist with any transfers, excursions or just taxi services, if he doesn’t have capacity he will assist with recommendations etc.”

“This please was our heaven in Sanur. The photos do not do it justice. The pool area is much bigger than it looks in the photos, and was used it for around 4-6 hours every day/evening! A very good cafe/coffee shop 50m up the road. A ten minute walk to the beach, and a lot of very good food options within a ten minute walk. The place has a great living area/kitchen set up, but we almost never used it as there were so many options so close by! Perfect place for a small(ish) group of friends, or extended family groups.”

“Beautiful, peacefull setting, generous space with amazing architecture and attention to detail. Our room opened directly onto a beautiful outdoor space with a central swimming pool and outdoor shower. Great location in Sanur with easy access to restaurants and beach. The rooms were spotless, beautifully presented and service was exceptional from staff who were welcoming, eager to serve, friendly and proud of their work, nothing was too much to ask for. In the mornings daily breakfast was provided with generous and fresh servings at a time that suited. Three private rooms, each with ensuites and plenty of privacy. Sanur was a peaceful realease after arriving from the hustle and bustle of Seminyak.
This villa is fantastic and I would highly recommend to anyone, great space to relax with the family, partner or small group of friends

“This villa was beautiful and exactly like the pictures! The host was quick to respond to all our questions and accommodated any needs and requests! Take advantage of the complimentary breakfast and pick up and drop off. The staff there were friendly and attentive. We enjoyed a late evening massage by the pool that was separate cost, but the host was nice enough to book for us. We truly enjoyed our stay here!”

“We have nothing but positive words to say about Villa Zamaya! The villa is absolutely stunning and as a group of 4 people we were amazed with the amount of space we had which was an absolute treat. From the swimming pool to the bedrooms, the villa was absolutely spotless but with so much local charm. The living space was wonderful open plan with fully serviced kitchen and large table (good for a large group) – looking directly out over the gorgeous swimming pool which was a perfect temperature. The bedrooms were huge – two standard bedrooms and one master bedroom but can honestly say that all the bedrooms are huge with large comfortable beds and lovely clean, authentic bathrooms with rainforest shower. the villa is full of beautiful flowers and well kept flower beds, really adding to the beauty of the villa. Upstairs there is a fantastic roof top terrace perfect for a evening barbecue – the villa are able to offer bbq with staff if required. We were very thankful to the villa team for the way they looked after us during our stay – one thing we didn’t expect was breakfast everyday as part of the price – eggs, toast or local breakfast available. they also come in and change your bed linen / clean the room daily but if you prefer not to be disturbed that’s also ok! Finally location – villa zamaya is down a little side alley, perfectly safe with security monitoring the villa outside. The location is great – a one minute stroll to the main high street and 5 mins to the beach street. Sanur has a great little fishing village vibe – lots of beachside restaurants and bars and also packed with places to stop along the main high street – Jalan Tamblingan. only thing to note that everywhere pretty much closes by 11pm so could be considered sleepy town if party scene of seminyak and Kuta more your style. Villa Zamaya thanks from all of us for an outstanding stay – we hope to be back in the future!”

It was a perfect choice. “Stayed here 29 nights to get away from the cold back home. Villa Zamaya is very well situated walking distance to shops, pharmacy, supermarkets, restaurants, the beach and yhe morning market.
My wife and I like to cook most meals and the kitchen at Zamaya is 5 star.
The pool is a perfect size and well designed.
The bedrooms and ensuite are large and comfortable.
Made and the other staff are always smiling, friendly and very helpful for any request.

“We loved our time here. We were a party of four adults visiting Sanur for Nyepi Day and the villa was the perfect place to relax and enjoy the quiet. The location is ideal to explore Sanur on foot, very central and close to shopping, water sports, restaurants and the beach. The rooms are very large with comfy beds, great air conditioning and gorgeous bathrooms. The Kitchen has everything you could possibly need and Kadek was a great help for breakfast and advice. The pool is stunning and the rooftop BBQ and bar mean there is lots of space to make great holiday memories. The meditation/yoga room takes this villa to the next level if you are looking for a place to really relax and enjoy Bali. The Gardens are beautiful and the complex is private and secure. We all loved our time here and would recommend it to everyone.”

“We had a fantastic stay here. The owners have put a lot of thought into the details of this property. They also surpassed our expectations by purchasing a new Pack n’Play, changing mat, baby bath tub, and designed and built a high chair so as to make our 1-year old son comfortable during our stay. It was very thoughtful and made for a great, kid-friendly experience. Their staff was friendly and helpful. They arranged for airport pick up/drop off and greeted us with cold towels and a welcome drink when we arrived – a first for us in our Airbnb experiences. As another welcome surprise, someone was always on hand, and they came at least three times per day to help with dishes, prepare breakfast, and ensure the rooms were clean – more like a hotel than a traditional Airbnb property. We loved the pool, the rooftop BBQ area, and the various covered reading nooks. The internet worked all around the property, and they had a great entertainment center in the dining area. Overall, this is a beautiful, new, upscale property located in a cool neighborhood close to several restaurants, shops, and spas. We preferred spending our time at the villa’s pool than at Sanur Beach, which seemed to always catch at low tide, but swimming under the stars in the villa itself more than made for that. We would stay here again and recommend it to friends.”
